In this piece I scrub the floor of this historic site @lostclubnight, highlighting the conflicting duality of women's roles - exaggerating the male-gazed ideal of beauty with the domestic femininity imposed by Western patriarchal society. This act nods to the 'invisible' labour of women, honoring their unseen work that is often dismissed because it's a domestic duty
